A trip to Milan.

On Wednesday we spent the day in Milan,
a wonderful city - the Fashion Capital of the World.

An early bus ride from Leno left the students... well... a little sleepy.
We found that a bit amusing.

 We found that very amusing.

Apparently no one else found that amusing. We guess.

Upon our arrival in Milan we were dropped off close to Il Duomo - the Milan cathedral.
It is indeed a gothic masterpiece, and all the pupils seemed impressed.

The facade was a mighty wonder, and the students were given time to look around as they were waiting for tickets to go to the roof of the cathedral.

There were some happy faces showing in the crowds...

...but after a while the students' skepticism grew, as they were growing weary of waiting, and after only an Italian breakfast (which is slightly different from a Swedish one), tummies started rumbling.

After a quick pit stop buying food, for those who dared break the lines, they were all happy campers again.

Happy campers, indeed!

After that, we were headed for the roofs. 300 steps up, 300 steps down.

But it was totally worth it.

The view was amazing, the world seemed so tiny from that great hight.

One joyful bunch in the sun.
Look at the happy Swedes, they all knew it was raining in Sweden!

After the cathedral, we had time to do some shopping. The tour continued through Milan's beautiful Galleria, and ended at the plaza in front of La Scala. But not before...

...getting some eternal happiness from some ballsy moves. When in Rome...

After our shopping spree we headed home.
Everyone were showing their latest, and everyone seemed to have enjoyed their trip.
Ah, sweet love! (Of Italy, of course...)

The day ended with a pizza party. Fabulous pizza...

 ...great company...

...and awesome dessert. What an evening!
